Return Policy

Return window

You may return any item within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund or a size exchange. The delivery date is the date the carrier records the parcel as delivered, not the date you opened it. Requests received after the thirtieth day fall outside this policy; the seam guarantee described below is separate and has no time limit.

Condition required

Returned items must be unworn beyond an indoor try-on, unwashed, free of odour and pet hair, and carry their original tags. Please try garments on indoors, over the layers you intend to wear them with. Once a shell has been on the trail it has done its job and cannot be returned.

We inspect every return on arrival. An item that does not meet these conditions will be returned to you at our cost, with an explanation of what we found. We will not quietly reject a return.

How to start a return

1. Email contact@koinoniaadventures.us with your order code and the item you wish to return or exchange.
2. We reply within 1–2 business days with a prepaid return label and instructions.
3. Pack the item securely, attach the label, and hand it to the carrier.

Return shipping cost

We provide a prepaid return label and deduct a flat $6.99 from your refund to cover it. That is the only cost associated with a return. There is no restocking fee of any kind.

If the return is our error — the wrong item, the wrong size against what you ordered, or a manufacturing fault — the label is free and nothing is deducted.

Refunds

Once your return arrives and passes inspection we issue the refund to the original payment method within 5 business days, and email you when it leaves our end. How quickly it appears on your statement after that is set by your bank or card issuer, typically a further 3–5 business days.

Original shipping charges are refunded only where the return is our error.

Exchanges

For a size or colour exchange we ship the replacement as soon as the carrier scans your return into the network, rather than waiting for it to reach us. If the replacement is unavailable by the time your return arrives, we refund in full instead and tell you why.

Seam guarantee — separate from returns

Every seam we sew is guaranteed for the life of the garment. If our stitching fails in normal use we repair or replace the piece at no charge, with no time limit and no receipt required. This is a warranty claim, not a return: email photographs of the failure to contact@koinoniaadventures.us and we will assess it directly.

The guarantee covers our construction. It does not cover abrasion damage, tears from falls or scrambling, or wear caused by the mountain rather than by the sewing. Send it in regardless — we would rather look at the garment than guess from a description.

Items we cannot accept

• Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.
• Items worn outdoors, washed, altered, or missing their original tags.
• Items marked final sale at the time of purchase, which is stated on the product page before you buy.
